Timetable

So after a week of lots of introductions, visiting places, and learning about the area, we have finally discussed days and times with the people who run the schools and care homes and put together a time table of who I will help each day.
I will also be visiting the Village of Hope (built by the charity - where groups of 8 orphans have been given small houses and widows act as house mothers) in my free time, mainly afternoons.

  1. This is great, we can pray specifically for you in preparation for God's work he has prepared in advance for you. This work is physically and emotionally draining so ensure you have some you and Jesus time. You are learning so many skills, Rachel and also have so much to give, including talents you don't know you have yet. Above all enjoy your experience, Jesus is the centre of what you're doing and His purpose will be fulfilled. You;re doing a great job :-)

  3. Hi Rachael,

Have absolutely loved reading the blogs so far and there can't be anything more worthwhile and rewarding than what you are doing. So inspiring to see a young person putting their time and effort into such great humanitarian work. Your strength of character is very impressive and I have no doubt that your faith is supporting you when it really gets tough.

On a lighter note, J and dad came round on Saturday after the game. Apart from the result they were in good heart and you could tell that they had missed me tremendously ;-)

Really, really proud of what you are doing and I know your Dad is.

    Love,

Andy - the absent Goona !
