Because I was away with the youth group this weekend, I packed most things before I left on Friday (I thought) . It turned out I had lots of things left to remember on Sunday evening and had to leave at 5am on Monday. I had visits from Rosie and her family, Megan, Will and Sarah, Mum and my Granny all before I left as well as trying not to forget anything!

The weekend away was fantastic and really made me realise this is what God wants me to do. The three youth groups we took bonded really well and I realised how much I'd miss the kids at Energy. I got home from Quinta feeling very prepared mentally for the trip.

My charity flight enables me to take three suitcases with me. I filled two cases with kids clothing and toys to take to the children in the village which is amazing; special thanks to Sarah and Hilary, Beryl, Emily and Gabi, Harriet and Juila and lots of other people who collected clothes to give to me!
