Being Wee'd on (again) and Sleeping by the Nile

So as church finished I spotted the most adorable child in a cute matching suit. As I do with all children, I picked him up and wondered around with him on my hip. It was then that I felt a warm sensation on my skin and then the dampness.
This is the second child to wee on me.

I put him down and informed his mother.

The afternoon was lovely. A friend that I met at Spring Harvest in France a few years ago, Alice, is also volunteering somewhere a few hours away in Uganda. She wrote to me that her and some of the volunteers would be in Jinja this weekend so I jumped on a boda and rode to meet them.

The bike broke down.

While standing on the hill watching the driver try and start his bike with his foot about 30 times, I spotted a driver with no passenger riding towards me. I ended up getting this bike to take me the rest of the way.

I met Alice and her 4 friends and they showed me where they were staying. It was a small guesthouse with a fantastic view of the Nile river. We sat on the grass with the view and I left my little speakers playing some music. As the sun set I realised it was too late to go home as I can;t travel alone when it's dark. They said I could stay with them so... I did.

Pretty
The guys started a camp fire and we cut some pineapple and sat listening to music and chatting. A pretty good night.
Also, I slept in the guesthouse which didn't have mosquito nets. I am still alive so I believe I'm becoming a true African... a bit.

We left at 6am he next morning because they had to travel all the way back to wherever it is they are working. Therefore I had a nice sunrise motorbike ride, went home, got changed and went straight out to the orphanage for the morning.

So please forgive me if I haven't posted on here and or replied to messages due to business/tiredness, I am not ignoring anyone :-)
